Village of Pakenham

The village of Pakenham and the surrounding area are home to three of the Seven Wonders of Lanark County: The Five-Span Stone Bridge, the St. Peter Celestine Church, and the Mill of Kintail conservation area. Read more about the Seven Wonders.

One of Pakenham’s other claims to fame is its maple industry. It is home to Fulton’s Pancake House and Sugar Bush (pictured below), which produces an abundance of maple syrup and has a restaurant and a gift shop (at which tons of maple products can be bought, including beauty products made with authentic maple sap, syrup, sugar, or sugar sand!)  Be sure to check out the web site for Fulton’s.
